Williamson Health Foundation to Host 31st Annual Champions Golf Classic Benefitting Local Student-Athletes

FRANKLIN, Tenn. (July 30, 2026) – The Williamson Health Foundation will host the 31st Annual Williamson Health Champions Golf Classic on Monday, Oct. 5, 2026, at Nashville Golf & Athletic Club, located at 1703 Crockett Springs Trail in Brentwood. The annual event will feature an afternoon of golf beginning with an 11:30 a.m. shotgun start followed by the Par-Tee on the 19th Hole at 5 p.m., an evening celebration featuring dinner, live entertainment, silent and live auctions and meaningful community connections. Proceeds from the event will directly benefit the Williamson Health and Bone and Joint Institute of Tennessee athletic training program, which is provided at no cost to Williamson County Schools.
“Each year, the Champions Golf Classic brings together businesses, community leaders and supporters who believe in investing in the health and well-being of Williamson County,” said Leigh Williams, executive director of the Williamson Health Foundation. “Whether you’re joining us on the course, attending the Par-Tee on the 19th Hole or partnering with us as a sponsor, your support helps ensure local student-athletes have access to exceptional sports medicine care close to home.”
The cost of a golf foursome is $5,000, which includes golf for four, four tickets to the Par-Tee on the 19th Hole and custom-fitted Blue Delta jeans for each player, courtesy of this year’s Player Gift Sponsor. Individual Par-Tee tickets are available for $500. Registration is now open, and a limited number of golf team spots remain available.
In addition to golf team registrations, a limited number of sponsorship opportunities remain available for both the tournament and the Par-Tee on the 19th Hole. SurgiCor and JE Dunn Construction are serving as the presenting sponsors of the golf tournament, while Bone and Joint Institute of Tennessee is the title sponsor of the Par-Tee. Remaining opportunities include the Par-Tee Presenting Sponsor, Par-Tee Dinner Sponsor, Par-Tee Signature Drink Sponsor and Happy Hour Sponsor.
As part of the event, Williamson Health Foundation Capital Campaign Co-Chair Caroline Bryan will once again host her signature competition, Putting for Purses, which combines skill, fashion and philanthropy. Participants purchase opportunities to win coveted designer purses donated in support of the Foundation’s mission. The competition will take place during the Par-Tee on the 19th Hole.
“Our signature ‘Putting for Purses’ contest at charity golf events has become a fan favorite — and for good reason! There’s nothing more entertaining than watching someone sink a putt with laser focus…all because they’ve got their eye on that one perfect handbag – whether it’s for them or a lucky loved one,” said Bryan. “We’ve had some incredible designer bags donated for this great cause, and it’s such a fun way to raise extra funds right on the course. So don’t forget to bring your wallet — and your short game — because you’re definitely going to want in on the action!”
Proceeds from the event will directly support the Williamson Health and Bone and Joint Institute of Tennessee athletic training program. Through this program, certified athletic trainers are assigned to all nine Williamson County public high schools, serving more than 7,500 student-athletes participating in 23 TSSAA varsity sports. Athletic trainers are present on campus for practices and home games to evaluate injuries, provide treatment and help keep student-athletes healthy throughout the school year.
