Important Williamson Health Initiatives
Patient Safety & Quality
At the heart of our commitment to excellence, is a strong dedication to patient safety and quality. From infection prevention policies and exceptional hand hygiene standards to precautions for fall risks and thoughtful shift-change procedures, our focus is always on how to provide the best possible care for our patients.
Kindness Matters
You might hear or see “Kindness Matters” on our campus. This is our reminder to everyone who comes through the doors that mutual respect, compassion and teamwork are all critically important to the healthcare journey. Our goal is to maintain an environment where it’s possible for our staff to continually do their best. We hope to inspire our friends and neighbors to join us in ensuring that kindness is at the heart of our community.
Quiet Nights
We care about the whole patient and recognize the vital role that deep, restful sleep can play in your overall health as well as your treatment, healing and recovery. While we still monitor and provide care around the clock, our Quiet Nights program includes a reduction in noise levels, lighting and in-room interruptions from 9 p.m. to 6 a.m. We also offer our patients relaxation tools and techniques.
Recognition Opportunities
We are continually looking for ways to praise our staff who go above and beyond in providing high-quality, compassionate care to our patients. If you would like to recognize one of our staff members for the exceptional care and/or compassion you received at a Williamson Health facility please do so by one of these methods:
- The DAISY Award® nomination for extraordinary care provided by your nurse(s) for your in-patient hospital stay at Williamson Medical Center.
- The BEE Award recognizes non-nursing staff members (including services ranging from EMS, physical therapy, physician office visits, housekeeping, dining/cafe, imaging, lab draw station, physicians, etc.) who made a difference in the care you or your loved one received.
- Tax-deductible donation to our Williamson Health Foundation.
We greatly appreciate your support of our staff.
