Adult Patient Transfers
When your patients transfer, they shouldn’t have to move to a crowded hospital downtown to get the care they need. Williamson Health offers compassionate, top-tier care with more space and less travel. As a transferring provider, you’ll experience the ease of working with a highly capable and accessible regional transfer team for an efficient, patient-focused transfer process.
Some examples of things we treat include advanced cardiac treatments, pulmonary issues, radiology services, orthopaedic care, spinal neurosurgery, vascular surgery, and much more. For a comprehensive list of services at the Williamson Health Regional Transfer Center, click here.
Please have the patient’s name, date of birth, referring facility name, reason for requested transfer, and contact information for the referring provider available.

Direct Admit
While Williamson Health does not tend to have many direct admits, there are certain times when it is appropriate. If you are a clinic that would like to discuss this option, please contact the Williamson Health Regional Transfer Center at (615) 435-6987. If a patient has been accepted to our facility, please direct the patient(s) to:
- Monday - Friday, 5 a.m. and 5 p.m.: Patient Registration
- After Hours, Weekends and Holidays: Emergency Room
Reaching Our Emergency Room
For providers looking to reach our Emergency Room while sending a patient to Williamson Medical Center or searching for information on a patient, you are encouraged to call (615) 435-7200 and our ER operator will direct your call to the appropriate individual.
Please note: This phone number is ONLY available to providers. If you are a friend or family member of a patient in the emergency room, please call (615) 435-5000.
