Swiercz to succeed retiring physician Arthur Williams, D.O.
FRANKLIN, Tenn. (Sept. 1, 2026) – Williamson Health Medical Group is pleased to announce the addition of Michael Swiercz, M.D., to its growing team of providers on September 1. Dr. Swiercz will work alongside Arthur Williams, D.O., to help ensure a smooth transition for patients ahead of Dr. Williams’ retirement in November. Dr. Swiercz joins an established team of family medicine providers at the Williamson Health Medical Office Building, which will continue to provide a range of services to both adolescent and adult patients, including routine preventive care, annual physical exams and treatment for acute illnesses and chronic conditions.

As a resident of Middle Tennessee for nearly 20 years, Dr. Swiercz is proud to begin serving patients in his local community. Board-certified in family medicine, Dr. Swiercz earned his medical degree from St. Matthew’s University in Grand Cayman and completed his residency at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences (UAMS) in Fayetteville.
“I’m most excited to give back to a community that has been home to my family for many years,” said Dr. Swiercz. “It’s especially meaningful to return not only as a physician, but to a practice where I was once a patient myself. I have the utmost respect for Dr. Williams and am grateful for his wisdom and guidance. Dr. Swiercz’s approach to family medicine centers on teamwork and communication, putting the patient first to make informed decisions about each individual’s care. Dr. Williams will continue serving patients at the practice’s current location at 4323 Carothers Parkway in Franklin until his official retirement on November 20. After that, Dr. Swiercz will transition care of Dr. William’s patients, while also accepting new patients.
