Shari Seaman PA-C

Shari Seaman, PA-C is a board-certified physician assistant with Williamson Health Medical Group. A native of Georgia, Seaman received her master’s degree at the Medical College of Georgia in Augusta. She went on to work in pulmonary critical care at Piedmont and Wellstar Health Systems. After spending several years working in the Intensive Care Unit, Seaman began to see a need emerge for improvement in communication between families and the health care team of the patient. It was then that she began her career in Palliative Care. The goal for her is helping the families she works with understand not only the trajectory of a diagnosis but to be educated on treatment options to ensure that the treatment choices families make align with their long term goals. Throughout her career, she has made it a priority to bring awareness of the benefits of palliative care and the importance of advance care planning to the medical field and to the community.

In her free time, Seaman enjoys spending time with her brothers, nieces and nephews. She is also an avid adventure traveler. After recently tackling Mount Kilimanjaro and Everest Base Camp she is on the hunt for her next big adventure.
