Dustin Smith M.D., F.A.C.S.

Dr. Dustin Smith joined Franklin Surgical Specialists in 2009. A native of Memphis, he graduated Cum Laude with a bachelor’s degree from the University of Tennessee Knoxville before receiving his medical degree from the University of Tennessee College of Medicine in Memphis. He completed an internship in general surgery at Baylor University Medical Center in Dallas, as well as a residency at the University of Tennessee Medical Center. During his residency, he was a Guardian Angel recipient, an award given to caregivers by patients.

Dr. Smith is board-certified in general surgery. He is a member of the American College of Surgeons, Knoxville Academy of Medicine and the Tennessee Medical Association. He lives in Franklin.
