Bio
Dr. Brian Long has practiced cardiology in the Nashville area since 2007 and serves as the Medical Director of Cardiovascular Services and Director of Cardiac Rehabilitation at Williamson Health.
Dr. Long earned his Bachelor of Science at the University of Michigan and his Doctor of Medicine at Vanderbilt University. He then went on to complete his Internal Medicine residency at the University of Colorado before completing fellowships in Cardiovascular Disease and Interventional Cardiology at Loyola University Medical Center.
In 2018, Dr. Long accepted a faculty position with Vanderbilt Heart and Vascular Institute in Franklin, TN, and joined the medial staff at Williamson Health, a regional healthcare system with more than 2,100 employees across more than 30 locations including Williamson Medical Center and Bone and Joint Institute of Tennessee.
Dr. Long lives in Brentwood, TN, with his wife and three teenage daughters. Away from the hospital, he enjoys his daughters’ sporting events, boating, and all things related to the great outdoors.
