Williamson Health Foundation Opens 2026 Scholarship Applications for Aspiring Healthcare Professionals
Published: January 19, 2026
FRANKLIN, Tenn. (January 19, 2026) – Williamson Health Foundation is now accepting applications for its 2026 scholarship program, supporting local students pursuing degrees in healthcare-related fields. The application window is open now through March 1.
“We are proud to present five scholarship opportunities this year made possible through the generosity of our donors,” said Leigh Williams, Executive Director of the Williamson Health Foundation. “Their generosity helps open doors for the next generation of healthcare professionals – an investment that strengthens care for our community for years to come”
The Williamson Health Foundation scholarship program is designed to ease the financial burden of higher education for students committed to careers in medicine, nursing, allied health and other healthcare professions. By supporting local students, the Williamson Health Foundation helps strengthen the healthcare workforce serving Williamson County and surrounding communities.
“Receiving this scholarship turned what once felt like a distant dream into reality, allowing me to focus on my education and clinical training,” said Audrey Meguiar, recipient of the 2025 Craig Ferrell Memorial Scholarship. “It has empowered me to further my career in healthcare and prepare to deliver compassionate, high-quality care.”
Scholarship recipients are selected based on academic achievement, commitment to healthcare, community involvement and alignment with the Williamson Health Foundation’s mission. Funds may be used to offset tuition, fees and other educational expenses, allowing students to focus on their studies and professional development.
Applications and additional details about eligibility and scholarship opportunities are available online. Interested students are encouraged to apply early ahead of the March 1 deadline.
