Williamson Health Foundation Continues Women’s Health Panel Series With Fall Luncheon: “Thrive: A Journey to Better Living”

October event to discuss awareness, advocacy and support throughout the breast cancer journey

FRANKLIN, Tenn. (Sept 21, 2026) – The Williamson Health Foundation, the philanthropic arm of Williamson Health, is proud to host the sixth installment of its Women’s Health Panel Series Luncheon, “Thrive: A Journey to Better Living,” on Wednesday, Oct. 21, focused on awareness, advocacy and support throughout the breast cancer journey. Attendees will hear from two local healthcare experts as they share insights on breast health, early detection, navigating challenges and the vital role of caregivers.

“These events were created to promote community surrounding women’s health topics, bringing people together to share insights and ask important questions in a comfortable environment,” said Leigh Williams, executive director of the Williamson Health Foundation. “We’re looking forward to continuing this series with our October event serving as a chance to explore breast health during Breast Cancer Awareness Month and giving women the information they need to feel empowered in their health.”

The October panel luncheon will take place from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. in the Willoughby Rooms inside Williamson Medical Center, located at 4321 Carothers Parkway in Franklin. Attendees will hear from two featured panelists:

  • Amanda Whitman, BSN, RN, BHCN, Oncology Program Lead, Williamson Health
  • Peyton Lee, DNP, FNP-BC, High-Risk Breast Specialist, Williamson Health Turner-Dugas Breast Health Center

Guests will enjoy a provided lunch while hearing from these experienced healthcare professionals about navigating the breast cancer journey and best practices for breast health. 

The cost to attend the luncheon is $25 per person, and proceeds will benefit the Williamson Health Foundation.
