Williamson Medical Center Patient Information Contact
In accordance with state and federal laws, Williamson Health staff members may be restricted from releasing certain information about a patient. When a patient is admitted to the hospital, the patient completes the hospital’s General Consent form and has the option to consent or decline permission to the hospital to disclose the patient’s status to anyone who asks for them by name.
If a caller identifies a patient by the correct name, the hospital staff may release certain limited information, including the patient’s room and phone number and the patient’s general condition. More detailed information cannot be released without consent of the patient. If a patient declines permission to the hospital, they will be considered a confidential patient and will not receive any phone calls, mail, flowers, or visitors other than those they arrange.
