Patient and Family Advisory Council (PFAC) at Williamson Health
At Williamson Health, we believe that healthcare is not just about treatment — it is a collaborative, relationship-driven journey. That is why we created the Patient and Family Advisory Council (PFAC), a group of patients, family members, caregivers, and staff working together to continuously improve the care we deliver across our health system. PFAC ensures that the voices of those we serve are heard, valued, and used to guide positive, meaningful change.
The council meets quarterly and brings together a diverse group of individuals — including up to ten community members who have recently received care at Williamson Health and up to ten staff members. Each member serves a three-year term and contributes to thoughtful discussions around the patient and family experience. By sharing stories, feedback, and ideas, the PFAC helps identify best practices in patient-centered and family-centered care initiatives and explores ways to implement them across our organization.
PFAC is more than a meeting — it is a movement toward more inclusive, responsive healthcare. By participating in improvement projects, council members play a vital role in shaping how care is delivered.
We are currently welcoming applications from those interested in joining PFAC. If you or someone you know is passionate about making a difference in healthcare, we encourage you to apply.
