Megan and Avery’s Pediatric ER Story
Avery has had a tree nut allergy since she was small, so she’s gotten used to knowing what to avoid. But when she accidentally ate something that triggered her allergy at a party, her mom, Megan, noticed Avery’s throat beginning to tighten. Although she always had an EpiPen with her, she knew now was the time to take it out and go to the ER. Luckily, even though they live in Nashville, they were close to Williamson Health’s pediatric ER when the incident occurred. Hear their full story in the video.
